The initial one was generally a success with some 'minor technical problems' (like a VCR that did not record and a thunderstorm that halted the last 30 minutes or so of a scrimmage.)
I would be interested in hearing from any football official about the topics that you feel should be included in such a camp.
The semi-final format is:
Beginning at noon on Friday 2-3 hours of meetings Beginning at 6:00 on Friday scrimmages with observers and VCR equipment
Beginning at 8:00 on Saturday 4 hours of presentations
12:00 to 1:00 cookout lunch
1:00 to 4:00 meetings by position
Any suggestions for topics?
Does anyone currently have or attend a camp like this? What do you charge/pay?
Thanks

Little League Baseball Western Region has 2, one week camps in Jan/Feb each year. They're the last 2 weeks in Jan OR last week in Jan and first week in Feb. Cost for 1996 camp was $150 which includes bunkhouse type housing, 3 meals per day, and transport to and from airport (Ontario, CA). Check-in Sunday afternoon or evening. Check-out Friday evening or Saturday morning. I've been twice. Attendees range from novices to "journeymen". I believe each regional HQ has a similar program, but dates may be different. Check with LL for details.
